'06 Soft Top Problem

My top did once before, I didn't notice that (just like your picture) until my friend told me, so all I did was turn the top all the way up then turn the top all the down again, problem solve.

I don't think anything wrong with the covertible mechanism, the top (cloth) just fold into wrong way then stuck, that's why the top can't fold down any further.

But that's just my case, good luck!

Dude I would not even think of ordering a fix with a new car such as yours.
I've got the '06 and the problem is unacceptable and completely covered under warranty.
Are you sure something is not in the boot. You're only able to check this out with the top up and the wind deflector laid down.
Take a flashlight and check this out.

i know this used to be a problem in many s2000s, my 02 never had any issues w/ that....but on my 06 it has happened 2x...
