AIT GT3 Wide Body Install Photo Diary
I finally picked up my wide body last wednesday. I've been working on it for the last few days, and have gotten the fenders, sideskirts, and the rear bumper to pretty much on on. As of monday, I'll purchase some bondo and start making things smooth. I was suprised how the rear bumper fit perfectly! No bondo needed at all!
BUT.... the front bumper will not go on. The top of the center hole on the bumper won't clear the bumper support. It needs to be brought down 3/8". guess I'll have to do some surgery now... That's the only major problem I'm faced with. Just wished the front would've fit as well as the back.
Well here are some pics. I'll keep everyone updated as I make progress.
By the way Naveed said I should paint the car hot pink afterwards. Any suggestions?

The most common problems I've had or have heard of when putting a front bumper on are 1) not ensuring that the plastic undertray is properly placed above the bottom of the bumper and 2) not having the fender liner sides tucked into the bumper.
Check those things before going hog-wild. Good luck.

That seems to be quite a large amount to be off. You're absolutely sure that there were no plastic pieces blocking the bumper from going cleanly on? It took more than a few minutes for me to figure out why my $1k bumper wasn't lining up.
