Default Amber Vs. White driving lights?

So I need to get my headlights buffed out to get rid of that nasty yellow tinge to it, you can't see it in pictures but in the sunlight it's there. So I decided to do all my headlight mods at once since they will have to come out anyways. I'm going for 6k HID's, Clear diffusers, but can't decide between the stock amber driving light or white driving light. I think amber looks kind of out dated and since i'm swapping the amber diffusers out to clear if they will still go with the car. As for white I'm worried that it may not match the color of the headlights, and look nasty.

What do you guys think? And does anyone have pictures of white or amber driving lights with the low beams on?

I could be wrong, but I think the Day Running Lights are the color they are because it's easier to see them during the day. White DRL's will probably get washed out in sunlight...esp since they're not high intensity.

Day time running lights are that yellowish color because the bulb is operating at a lower voltage. Replacing the bulb with a "whiter bulb" will not have any effect.

Well that makes sense, I don't use the DRL's though. They're only on when the low beams are too. Thats why I was wondering what would look better with the low beams on

Oh you're talking about the parking light. "Driving light" is a little misleading lol.

I personally like the amber.
