Another car suggestion thread
I am aware there is another thread on this right below this but my requirements are a little different. I've been looking at some cars for the past couple months and I need to finalize my decision. I've been carless for about a year now (studying away from home and live on campus so no need for a car) but now this quarter is ending and they're about to kick me out since my contract with this dorm is concluding. I'm looking mainly for something cheap to insure, livable interior, fun factor(I guess it doesn't really have to be but it would be a major major plus
) Looking to spend around 6-8k.
Requirements:
- Auto tranny (Planning to give it to my brother as a graduating present once I get a new car in a couple years and he doesn't know how to drive manual)
- 4 doors for the cheap insurance requirement and overall practicality (Unless theres a coupe out there that can offer me the same attributes)
- Reliable and good on gas.
I know this is a lot to ask for in a econobox but I believe there are some cars out there could offer me at least 80% of my requirements.
Cars I've been looking at:
- 7th Generation Civic Sedan
- Mazda 3 Hatchback (Probably out of my league in terms of my price range)
- Earlier gen Accord
- Toyota Corolla S
You guys are more than welcome to add to my list, thanks in advance
