another S down........ *update*
did you tow it to that shop or was it towed there after the accident? If you picked that shop and now you tow it somewhere else the insurance company may not pay for that tow. Also most Dealership do not have their own body shops and sublet the work to another shop. Find out which shop it's going to before you just blindly bring it to the dealership.
Also to everyone saying "frame damage" remember the S2000 is a unibody car, the whole vehicle is essentially the frame. The insurance quote does seem low but insurance appraisers are only allowed to write what they can physically see. They probably wrote just a control arm on the rear suspension, but once it's torn down I will bet that there is more suspension damage. There is likely to be inner quarter panel damage. There is no way to tell if your vehicle is totaled or not yet, let the body shop do their job and do a full assessment of the damages.

wow.. had i seen my car parked in front of the shop like that.. you better believe that it wouldhave woken up without seats and EVERY INCH of the car wouldbe hit with a baseball bat.. and then the bodyshop would get sued.
i just took a visit to the body shop and sure enough with their tare down they found more damage. They found that my soft top have a slight rip in it, my drivers side headlight has a broken tab, it needs complete passanger side suspension components, rear fender frame sure enough has damage. So from what he showed my the damage should climb to at least $7500. He told my how all state decides weather or not to total a car. They go by nada's clean retail value which says my car is worth at least 14000 which is a tad high. So in order to total my car they need to assess a total of about $11500-$12000 worth of damage which my car wont come close to.

sounds like a low estimate @ $7500 for the damage that's done... and I KNOW that's not including repair costs (labor)...
