At the end of the day, Id still rather drive home in the ASM S2000 and have lost than in the 240 and have won.

I would type out the 240sx mods but its REALLY long. Hopefully I can get my hands on a scanner and then I'll post them up so people can see the feature.

Next Months issues will be Super Autobacs NSX dethroned by Formula 1 car.. but its a good comparison right. What a pointless article for them to do, they could have pitted the 240 against a ton of shop built road N/A cars and beat them.

It happens. It's not going to change the world or anything. No big deal to me.

this is the dumbest article ever. The 240 had race tires, was completly gutted, so that it was almost 500lbs lighter than the S2000 and it had about 80-90hp more than the S2000. In the article it stated that the ASM car had 86, 000 km on it and it was a 2000 model and that the car was the asm owner's personal daily driver. apples and oranges. if the S2000 used the same tires as the 240 and kept it's 90hp and 500lbs handicap , i still think it would have beaten the 240. the horse power, weight and tires are a big handicap, i bet i could beat anyone of you guys on the board in a foot race if i cut off one of your legs. the 240 also broke by the end of the time attack ( apart of the boost controller failed) so it wouldn't even be able to be consistant. the 240 has nothing really to be proud of. just my 2 cents

I'll see if there's anything photoworthy to snap today.

I'm surprised everyone is focused on just the cars themselves. True, the ASM car ran on street tires and track tires do make a huge difference. Yes, the ASM car is a bit porkier than the other stripped out car. But what should have made the difference and given ASM the ultimate advantage:
1) Sachs coilovers, same one used in the time-attack car
2) more importantly, the driver. The ASM car was driven by a professional CHAMP CAR racecar driver. The other car was run by a good driver, but not at the same level.
