Begining of another project - BlackS2000Turbo
Blacks2000turbo said in his reply that the roll bar is not finished. It will be painted soon. And I think he didn't get the roll bar for the look. He got it for the purpose of racing. To me, this roll cage is for the purpose of racing and safety. Maybe the next time we will post these pix in "under the hood" instead of "photo gallery".
Just my 2 cents

BlackS2000turbo,
Thanks for letting everyone know about the Bitterbar and for your endorsement. The welds are beautiful and the tubing is top quality, etc as you stated.
Those of you who are interested, keep in mind that we have a harness mount option which is not welded to the bar, saving space, weight, and cost.
The bar is an excellent soft-top compatible design and as far as the finish goes, it's your basic powder coating. Any color is available if you don't like the dark silver that BlackS2000turbo got (he didn't choose it, I did, so don't blame him; he's got way better taste than me!). We just built three new bars, two dark grey and one red and they have a really nice finish. Of course what really matters is how they finish after a rollover. I hope nobody ever finds out.
I'm ignorant about the turbo thing. Is there actually a good quality turbo for the S2k? And does it really put down 500 to the wheels? And if so, how much does it cost? Any reliability issues if boost is kept modest? Lemme know!
Also, the S2000 Challenge is headed out east next year, so I hope to see your blcks2kturbo car at the track and watch it kick some ASX (?).
Thanks,
Aaron Bitterman

Has anyone come up with a reliable way to keep the rear diff from turning into mashed potatoes under abusive conditions (like this one will be put through soon
)? I'll need a good solution for this by the time my warranty runs out.
