Im pretty sure that Emotions are the strongest wheels. Before my S gets tracked I plan to get a set of forged wheels that are lighter than the Emotions.

I'm all for buying whatever suites your budget so I don't mind rotas...Hell, I was rocking rotas for a few months but decided on something different...Not everyone can afford to buy the 'original high end parts' because they're wallet just doesn't justify it...

The thing that REALLY pisses me off is when people say "go all out or stay stock" or "you shouldnt put those wheels on a 30K car"....I mean COME ON!!! I swear some s2k owners have this mentallity that they're so elite compared to everyone else...Face it, these cars are going for pretty cheap and younger people with less of a budget are modding them...Spend the money you want to spend on YOUR car but don't bash someone who can't compete with your wallet.

At least Ryan has a valid point about Rota. He only hates it 'cus they replicate other wheels. But most of the s2k eltitist group only hate it because its Rota.

After all my babbling, here's my old set that I got my parents to get me while they were in the Philippines for vacation. VX8 (Sparco replica)

Woo Hoo!!! Rotas from their birthplace in the PI. They go for like $25 a rim there.

Yeah I saw you at SEMA, I was behind the pillar, I think you almost caught me a few times

Like I said, I don't mind a copy or anything, because that's what people do, and I think it's ok since there are people out there that want the look, but either can't afford or justify the $$$.

It looks like he would have had to hit a curb right one the bottom of the spokes and was going sideways.

Any wheel can crack or bend in any situation with to much stress applied to it in any given circumstance. I am a hardcore jdm freak so i prob would never buy rota's for my S. The thing that pisses me off about Rota is that they copy every brand of wheel out there which is a joke. I prob would not hate on Rota if they came up with some unique designs of their own.

Either people can't read or they are just retarded. Doesn't the title say "Calling out Rota riders!, post up your s2000 on rota wheels here!"

Where are all the pictures

i agree with some of the other people in here. you have the money but you just don't want to drop 2g's for wheels. i was the same way. i was this close to buying some ce28 time attacks. plus the main reason i was buyin new wheels was bc i wanted new tires. i decided it was not worth it to me to drop 2 grand on some wheels that are going to be daily driven and maybe even tracked. i am satisfied with my purchase and don't understand why people hate on rotas so much, replica or not who cares?

plus i have received atleast 10pm's from people asking me about my wheels and/or complimenting them so i guess they must look okay for being rotas.
