How was it designed from scratch when it looks more identical to Voltex than any other gt wing available? Looks like flipped end plates off the Voltex Type II.
Honestly, i could pull up a bunch of pics from buddy club, cusco, APR and other companies and they all share a lot in shape and style. the end plate design isnt even final yet. If i get a chance ill take a pic of the dc5 voltex/J's wing next to ours and the many differences in shape, profile, and width are quite easy to see in a second

It is great to see GTM coming out with new products. I am hoping you guys will have the car with this new goodie on it at IA next year.

Few questions for you :
you made an airfoil design but you don't have the 3D model data ? and you said it was designed from scratch ?
what program do you used to design this airfoil ?
How do you get the airfoil shape ? by 2D program ?
If you didn't have any data on the wing and still waiting to be scan, how did you made this airfoil shape and camber without knowing if the foil shape is going to be efficient and provide DF or not ?

As mentioned in the first post, this is still a prototype at this stage. DF readings are being collected from real world testing. The initial design was compiled by studying exhisting profiles.concepts, studies, and data collected from those, as well as imput from others in the aero and racing field.
