In a 350Z video they used an R34 as a sort of camera car. I'm sure the NSX was used in much the same fashion here.

BestMotoring is fun to watch, but not really a good 'benchmark', from what I've seen.

 

I was actually checking the new civic type R the other day in the new option magazine...what a phenomenal car it is!

 

That new Type R is seriously impressive. Also nice to see F1 reject Yuji Ide sucking it up in the DC5.

 

I thought those guys were driving like crap! The guy in the S2000 was riding the redline most of the time. lol

Can anyone compare times from other Tsukuba battles?

 

Stock s2ks lap around the 1:06-07 range. thats about the average for most cars in its class too. the 350z/evo/sti/NSX are run really close to that. its a tight technical track that the s2k really shines on.

 

I'm sure the S2k would have done alot better if Tsuchiya was driving it instead of the Civic Type R.....

 

Sorry guys but cars cheaper and newer than S2K will slowly start making our cars feel normal. Civic R, MazdaSpeed3, etc...

 

very very impressive, that car is very impressive on paper as well.

the NSX was definitely just wating for a perfect moment to pass, but very impressive none the less.

i don't know why they didn't include the older model Civic R's?????? that would be an interesting battle haha.

 

that is impressive, but if the S2000 was a GPW it would've been faster...
