Another thing to point out is how the ITBs hold power longer up top between 8200 and 9000. Add a header and test pipe to round out the exhaust flow and I bet with some more tuning, you'd have a pretty impressive power curve and a car with great throttle response.

There are more things that can be done to that setup to net more gains.

I mean look at the J's Racing S2000

That thing is making 311hp N/A.

Isn't it possible to raise the compression on this setup?

Sure, a head gasket or different pistons will up the compression, but the point of this dyno was to get a baseline fuel map to go out with the kit. The horsepower hinderance here is something unique to his engine, killing its power after 8000 rpm.

BTW, the J's car is stroked, as well as tons of other goodies.

Add a good header, test pipe, flywheel, pulleys, valve adjustment, and aggressive tune, and expect that red-plot to go up another 15-20 rwhp throughout the range. Now you've got a cookin' NA s2k
Add some cams that can take advantage of the new flow characteristics of this engine, and watch the numbers climb

Exactly. My car currently only has an RS-R widepipe dual exhaust with my ITB's. With this dyno of 200hp to the wheels is not that bad at all. Once I get my test pipe, flywheel, clutch, headers, and my 4.77 final gear drive installed...I will definetly have some better numbers. KEEP IN MIND FOLKS, we only finished installin this ITB kit only an hour before we had to go trailor it to the dyno.

Also we went to the dyno in the first place to get a tuned base fuel map to sell with FUJI-Racings ITB packages to help save the trouble for customer to do have to get his car dynoed himself. This will end up saving the customer some money in the end and not have to trailor his car to a dyno to get tuned like we did.

The reason why I posted it here was just to show my latest install which I am most DEFINETLY proud of. Took alot of work and stress to get this done and just wanted to share this with my fellow s2k members.

Thanks Wildcard for the help and thank for the ones who complimented.

Thanks for the info. Looks like this buildup is off and running on the right track!

I wish you luck with this project and you had better keep us posted!

I'm not knocking the ITBs and your gains look fine for the tune.

That is not true. Your gains are not bad at all but your baseline "is". Find out where you are loosing 10 hp to the wheels before you start tuning your ITBs and find yourself in need of a retune due to a substantial valve adjustment or replaced springs/retainers.

O no I know your not knocking so its ok. I agree with that. I always thought my car might have some power losses somewhere and in case your prolly right. Ill go and have it checked out and let you guys know. Thanks.
