you cant just go by dyno numbers!

dynojet=higher dyno number

mustang dyno=lower dyno number
your right, numbers mean squat...what's important here is the delta between the 2 plots...I'm encouraged with his results
A less conservative tune, with the velocity stacks, will probably result in greater gains for the ITB setup, thus increasing the delta from his baseline run

exactly throttle response is their function guys! 200 whp isn't bad if his only other mod is an exhaust. Looks great man
Throttle response is a big benefit of ITB's, but I disagree that you shouldn't expect to see some gains. Obviously, with great midrange gains and 15whp at peak, these gained pretty good power. Had he dyno'd at 200whp on a dyno that most S2000 owners dyno at 200-205whp stock, I'd be very dissapointed with the tune, despite the other benefits.

I would be more concerned about his lack of base power. Something isnt right, it's either the dyno or the engine. I'd trouble shoot to find out where your baseline power is falling off then look toward tuning the ITBs.

Youre wasting money trying to tune ITBs on an engine that isnt running in its proper range. The gains are decent for such a blind tune but your final numbers are much less than impressive.

You gotta look at what ITB's are intended for...instantaneous throttle response. And ITB car will crush an FI car in an autocross or tight technical course. Sure, a blown s2k is going to have buttloads more HP for roughly the same cost (factor in the AEM for the ITB's), but aside from street racing or large tracks like t-hill and the like, for guys that like to track their cars on the tight stuff, ITB's are the weapon of choice. The gang at Fuji-racing are autocross guys, so they design their stuff to win in autocrossing...not straight up horsepower grudgematches.

What do you want out of your car?

I agree...something isn't right there. His car is (was) basically the same as mine... yet his baseline plot has some serious issues when compared to mine (remember, different dyno's as well...his is a dynojet, mine's on a mustang)

My baseline: bone stock, open airbox (doesn't matter on a dyno), k&n filter.
***I'm only posting this to compare the curves...numbers don't mean squat guys, different dyno's, different days***

I wish my plot was scaled better to get a closer look, but you can still see that I make power easily up to 8500, then it barely dips after that (normal)...his 8000 rpm and up plot is showing some serious signs of something out of whack.
