Any chance you could move the mousepad inside the airbox?

Looks great!

Not really. It's a juggling act to assemble the box, filter, and inlet tube. The filter's edge is on the outside edge of the box. If I put the pad on the inside theI couldn't get the filter clamp on the tube. I would look a little nicer on the inside,If the opening was round. But the mousepad also covers up the now oval hole to seal the filter. I had to cut the filter opening larger because of the differences in inlet tube angles between Comptech and Vortech.

You should flip the mouse pad over so we can see the kitty cats and daisy's on it

I favor the mouse pads with the puppy dogs, But I went for the Very stylish plain black model. I even put the finished side out......

I was going to cut up a neoprene knee brace untill I remember that mousepads were also neoprene. A mousepad lost it's life over a knee brace.

I also have a Comptech Box and a Vortech SC ... you wouldn't want to ... errrr ... ahhhh ... maybe convert mine for a reasonable amount of $$ what do you think??

Want to use a 45 degree 3" short hose to achieve the Vortech to Comptech appropriate angle interface, instead of the "mouse pad option"

So really, all I need is the physical modification on the Comptech Box.

Stellar job on the modification
