I'm installing this when I remove my soft top.

Seems like it's just held by 4 bolts.

the hardtop catchers normally bolt to part of the softtop frame. people who gut the softop either fab a plate to replace the missing part of the softop frame, use a nut to secure the 10mm bolts (what i did), or just use 2 bolts instead of 3. just curious what they did for the cr. heres a picture of the area i'm talking about,

From those pics ... looks like the bar doesn't really block the soft top! But I guess that can't be the case ... since people have discussed this numerous times and the answer seems to be no all the time hehe
