Default custom intake

i had an aem cold air intake, but its been raining alot in my area lately and i noticed that the intake was bringing in a mist of water from low it was sitting. sooooooo, i went ahead and got creative with it. so here's some pics tell me what you think??

the two tubes are to bring in cold air.

final results are...

better acceleration and i dont have to worry about water any more..

Where are the two small lines that ran towards the bottom of the radiator? They came out of the 4 line piping.

not sure about functional, no heat shield or nothing.....
you'd be better off doing something like that witht the stock air box. for being creative though.

I guess that is a OK idea but it is ghetto as hell. Spend some money on a piece with high quality craftsmanship. Either that or spend more than 10 minutes and making something that is also aesthetically pleasing.

no heat shield you are losing major power...... did you realize the filter is sitting right behind a hot radiator???
