no offense but the way you did the tubing is probably doing very little to nothing at all, it isn't a bad effort.

but the physics of this setup cancels out any advantage that you may have over the stock airbox, which is very well designed and people should stop messy with, by the way.

the tubing is so small that the amount of cold air is completely negligible, the opening of the tubing is just to small and the way it is just pointed at the side of the filter is well, far from being the most effective way of doing things.

you had noooo water problem at all with the stock airbox, and you definitely have way more with this setup,

if you say it is blowing all the hot air away, then it is also not leaving much for the filter to injest.

if you are seriously going to stick with this, you need much much much bigger tubing, and different tubing at that.

would be much better off with a snorkel to the stock airbox. and wouldn't be that expensive.

Those tubes are doing absolutely nothing. You are getting just as much air from the outside of the car rushing in than anything those tubes are bringing in.

Sorry for thread jacking
wow a twelve pack? thats really instense... have you ever put a 12 pack in there? because the pressure would be sooo immense. i know someone who put like 10 in a beerbong that was like a story tall and it knocked out his front teeth when he opened it due to the pressure

looks like it will cool the engine block more than the air charge you want going into the intake, but +1 for the creativity
