Default Custom LED running lights

Here is a DIY project that I have been working on for a while. Most of that time was spent planning, designing, and getting parts, but within two weekends, I had it all constructed. I used 30 white LEDs, a couple custom fabricated aluminum mounting rails, and an OE chin spoiler to make it happen. I spliced into the running light circuits so they turn on with one click of the headlight knob. I custom fabricated the plexiglass diffusers (free-state heat-forming) and made the cutouts in the chin spoiler. Everything was designed and fabricated myself with the exception to machining the diffusers and mounting rails which were machined by my boss who is a tool&die maker by trade. But the design was my own. The actual LEDs themselves, I bought online and other various hardware parts you can pick up at a Home-Depot or Menards.
Started at around 4:00 PM Saturday and finished at around 5:15AM sunday morning- no breaks.

A whole lot of people thought this was going to look really stupid, were skeptical of the idea, or didn't know where I was going with this project including my own parents. So here is the finished product.

If this generates enough interest, I will try to write up some directions, and supply the working sketches on the difusers and mounting rails. I went through the effort to take some pics of the work in progress, so directions will have an extra helping hand.
Please note however, that I am unsure if this will work properly on an AP2 S2000. I would have to know how much space is available to work with on the AP2 chin spoiler, as in see the inside of it off the car, see the underside on the car, ect. ect.

i think it looks great. what about something that acts almost like a fog lite, filling up the brake ducts with LEDs? that would look awesome.

I like to see this happen for the ASM bumper that I have on mine. However, the LED would be higher up at the brake cooling ducts upper edge of the bumper.

I have no clue. I bought my LEDs from www.theledlight.com

They have a ton of different LED products. I went with the Microstar as it was waterproof, and the lights are somewhat exposed to the elements. They are expensive as hell, but they get the job done. If you buy them in bulk five-packs, the price drops a couple $$ per bulb.
