It took 7 weeks for my plates to come in, in California. The worst part was, I ordered the plates before my car was in and the plates came in 3 days before I bought my car. Then the DMV wouldn't let me have the plates for another 7 weeks, until I got the regular plates in the mail, to turn them in for my personalized ones. I ordered the plates on Sept 17th and got them on December 29th, 14 1/2 weeks later.
