Default Drove the S down to Mexico

Drove my marisol from Kansas City, Missouri down to Guadalajara, Mexico back in December. More than 3500 miles later, I'm back home and my girl is still in one-piece!

All in all, the main toll roads "cuotas" were better than I expected, but city streets are terrible. Oh and if somebody tells you Highway 80 to Guadalajara is a "highway" they're CRAZY---in some parts, the thing is barely paved! After driving around Guadalajara's bumpy streets for a couple of days, a noise developed in my suspension. When I took the car to the Honda dealership in Guadalajara, they refused to even look at the car saying, "we don't have a suspension specialist". Still not sure what it is, but the wheel hasn't fallen off, so I think we're in good shape for now.

Anyways, here are some photos. Enjoy! Thanks to everybody who hooked me up with information before my roadtrip.

If you ever make it to Guadalajara and your car is loud, drive through the Hidalgo Tunnel!
