final words to the s2k community
Ive read so many stories on the forums regarding to accidents and what not, but never really ever saw my saw myself getting into one until saturday night. It was one of the most terrifing moments of my life. Ive only been in 2 accidents in my life. 1 due to HARSH weather conditions to which i had no control over, and 1 becuase of a lady who ran a red light. But this accident was 100% my fault due to stupidity. I had one passanger in the car with me, to whom which was my girlfriend. We are both ok, and i thank GOD for that. the story behind this all, was due fact of speeding and lost control at a curve and ran into a tree around 40-45mph. The insurance has claimed the car at a total loss, i have a broken right hand, my girl with harsh bruises from the seatbelt/airbag, and a huge amount of paperwork to fill out. I am only 19, but from this experience, i have learned so much, and realized the more important things in life. There could have been so many outcomes, but yet GOD chose to save mine and my girlfriends life that night. I know most of the s2ki houston community highly feel that teenages like i, should not have such a nice car like the s2000, and i guess i have done nothing but prove them right. I am highly tramatized from this accident, and am seeing a psychiatrist, and hopefully over time things will get better. since the car accident i have not yet gotten into car, but with the support of my family and friends by my side, i hope that i will be able to ride with you guys again. well here are some before and after pics of my car.
ALSO i would like to make a special Thank You Tristian (s2kpinoy) and Edwin for their support that they have given me in the past few days.

Glad to hear that you and your girl are ok, as that is by FAR the most important thing in this situation. It's also good to hear that, as unfortunate as this situation was, you at least learned something from it, that cars can be dangerous weapons when not handled properly.
I do hope that you recover from the trauma though. Personally, I know that even after getting into some minor accidents, I have been scared off the road for a few days. It's a tough lesson to learn, but I hope you come out of it better and with a new view on driving. It'd be a shame for you to leave this community forever, since sports cars can be incredible fun when driven properly.

It takes courage to own up to the mistakes you've made and glad to hear that you and your girlfriend walked away with only minor injuries. Stay safe and buy another S2K so you won't have to leave the community =)
