Sorry you had such bad experience, but than again u've learned your lesson. My advice is - improve your driving skills and enjoy the car again. You now know the limit and what's beyond so you can now feel much safer when driving as you know when to back off - something one can learn from experience only.
Glad your girl and you are OK. Car's just a car (though your was clean). You'll get another one.
