Damn man that looks crazy I wouls have shat myself LOL, gotta have humor for a speedy recovery. I too am 19 and bought my S about a year and a half ago and I will admitt that I drove fast and thought I was god in it when I first got it, untill I had the back end come out on me over a slight bump in the road. After that I DO NOT push the S on the street, I have too much $$ and time invested to lose it all and I don't wanna hurt myself or someone else. I am glad to hear that you are okay and I hope for a I speedy recovery for you and your girlfriend.

I have been in on accident and I know how you feel afterwards, I had someone T-Bone me in my old Ep Hatch and it made me affraid of intersections for a few months but you will move on eventually and hopefully you chose to get another S and keep at it!!!

hey! i've seen you around the streets of houston before. I thought u were a little young lol. I'm sorry for your loss man. And while it is true that people around your age shouldn't have cars like the s2k due to responsibility and maturity, this experience has made u smarter and hopefully more responsible. That's important. Maturity doesn't only come from age... it also comes from experience. Take care and be careful! Recover from the trauma, it's not like you said "hmm.. i want to ram my pretty black s2k into a tree today". Crap happens.

But anyways, the most important thing is that you both are ok!

Glad to hear you and your GF are okay. We all do stupid stuff when we're young, and it definitely could have been a lot worse.

Hope you two get better, and hopefully someday you can come back with another S2K.

We all learn from our mistakes...thats the idea anyway. Learn from this. Age doesn't give you maturity and good judgement-that comes from experience and learning from your mistakes. Glad to hear you and your GF walked away. GL to you and a speedy recovery physically and mentally

Firstly, very glad to hear you're both ok.

My input: Shit happens. The Honda S2000 is a very confidence inspiring car. It makes you think you're better than you are until that "Oh shit" moment comes. Like someone said earlier in the thread, knowing your limits and the car's are the key to being a good driver and keeping you out of trouble. It has NOTHING to do with age. It has to do with experience and maturity - unfortunately for most people that only comes with age - i.e., I ****ed up and learned the hard way.

Good luck with the therapy and trust me - you'll be back on the road in no time, hopefully in another S!

I crashed my first Spa 02 when I was 19...but not nearly as bad as your S, I loss control taking a right turn then spun out in the rain and busted my whole rear right side suspension...seem like you put it through a brick wall...the main thing is you lived and you'll learn...I highly suggest you to take some driving lessons to build up confidence and not be afraid to loss control...I traded my Spa02 to 05 Evo and I'm back to the S again...you'll find youself wanting the S again if you get something eles...good luck
