Default Front License Plate solution (pix)

I finally got the FLP where I wanted it, off the nose. Here are some pix of the placement and the brackets I made. PM me if you're interested in the design.

I think it looks good. Anything is better than the original placement. I am going without the front plate right now, but with my luck I will get pulled over for it. I got my first ticket in over 5 years a few weeks ago ... of course I was in the s2k (still had temporary plates, so no mention about the front plate) . The good thing is that it draws attention (thumbs up, smiles) ... the bad thing is that it draws attention (police) .

I will PM for the design. Thanks.

Regards,

Al

Hey Man, no Offense but just curious why you didn't take the time to CENTER the plate. Or at least it looks like its too far to the right from the Pic.

It is off center. I used the original plate bracket turned upside down and attached the center mount to the hole in the grill, which is off center. To center it and keep it down inside the grill, instead of sticking out, I would have had to cut the grill back. I wanted to be able to restore it to original if/when I sell it.
Man. Tough room.

When it gets hot outside your car WILL overheat... I konw it doesn't look like it will, but I'm willing to bet money. I tried something similar in my Miata. ~95 degree day in traffic boiled my coolant.
