as long as plate is visible then its legal. at least that what this one officer told me. well i donno. but its better to use fake air duct then using real air duct

you are blocking a lot of the air to the radiator!
do you have over heating problem .. yet?

the perfect solution for the front plate ... is no front plate ...

or those mini plate that they use in europe ...

I've been pulled over a couple of times since I've had my S2k. Irving, Dallas and DPS. Nobody has ever cited me for my lack of a front plate. One officer looked for it, going as far as bending down to look into the grill.

Nadda

FYI: I've only been given one ticket... so far

Nice brackets, but I suspect you will have cooling issues because of the reduced airflow. And remember, the whole reason Mugen sells their three part Radiator Kit is because the ECU will cut back on the engine's capability to generate power if it detects heightened water temperatures.

In NY I have been pulled over several times with the CRX-Si for not having a plate. Now I just keep them on and live with it. The last thing I wanted with the CRX-Si was to have a cop start looking for other things!

Tell ya how bad it can be where I live.....I've seen police speeding up behind me in my mirror, then run just a little in front of me and look down at the front end for the plate. We have alot of those photo enforced traffic lights and just about every time I see someone being written up,the car has no front plate on it.

looks like you put some work into that but Im pretty sure you will have overheating problems....and in my opinion the front plate looks ugly wherever you put it
