Ah well, better late than never - I now have both my quaint old 35mm pictures back from processing and a photo album that works post-v4 upgrade.
Thank you all for your kind comments above.
So, a few more memories from the 2004 FoS.
As ever, the place was knee deep in motor racing celbs old and new.....
.........a very cool looking Mr. Hill for example.....
......and one of my childhood hero's (and a thoroughly decent bloke) Emmo
A little more up to date, JV
Once more, this time in conversation with Adrian Newey......Villeneuve to join McLaren rumours start here!!!
Taku (I like this picture!!)
Some of the car/helmet combinations evoked some bitter-sweet memories - 2 more of my hero's - Ayrton Senna......
......and Gilles......
......really Jacques of course:
The F1 boys put on a great show. Jenson....
......Olivier Panis.....
.....and most especially Antonio Pizzonia in the BMW Williams - now you see him
Now you dont!!!!!
Noisiest cars by a mile though were the mightily scary 'altered fuel' dragsters (note the innovative use of the fuel tank as the forward crumple zone )
And last, but by no means least, the very sad sight of a brand new crumpled Lambo Mucielago following an over enthusiastic ascent of the hill - complete with multiple air bags deployed!!!

Some can win 7 championships, still never reach the level of Senna...

Awesome, thanks for the pics. Any WRC cars/drivers there?
Juha Kankonen (sp??) drove and crashed the Toyota Celica (circa 1990 I think - very famous castrol livery)
And one of the top guys from Ford product development drove and crashed (there is a theme emerging here ) the current Focus WRC:
