It's fine for daily driving. I haven't tried droping the clutch yet nor do I plan on it, and I notice the clutch slips a little on a 1-2 shift at 9000. I imagine in time it will get worse and worse the more I beat on it. I'm guessing its probably slipping at times that I don't notice it also.
That said, I will be getting a clutchmasters clutch and toda flywheel installed sometime in the next few weeks. Should be better after that. Then I will have to evaluate my suspension and tire(grip) needs.
My dyno is already posted a few pages back. Its not 100% accurate but imagine that the HP keeps on rising to 9k.
The inaccuracies are due to a spark plug issue. that has now been fixed.
I see that I've missed a few pages while I was away.
Jenner - That was a long very detailed story about your experience with us in VA. We were happy to see you had an awesome experience and many more I'm sure. It was great to meet you and hang out for a few days! Can't wait to see your dyno numbers!!! I'm slacking on getting mine dynoed and tuned, I'm waiting for Hybrid's monster civic to be done so I can go with him. Prob sometime this week.
S2KTroop - Good to meet you finally, we talked on the phone so much it was good to put a face with the voice. Glad you were able to make it down to HIN. Thanks for posting some photos. I didn't think there was very much too look at there with the exception of a couple of nice Supras and WRXs.
evo S2000 - Bastard!!! On the way down half way into GA when we switched driving, I woke up from my short but very much needed nap staring at 137 on the spedometer as evo is racing a Camaro SS. I guess I would have done the same.
The trip to Atlanta went really smooth. No cops and no car trouble. My baby held up great for the 1300 mile round trip. I think it might have gotten a little hot on the way back. I was running it really really hard with a white Celica from the show who was on his way back to NC. All in all, good trip...more to come soon...
what!!! 137 ONLY... jeff you know you can do better then that...
i was thinking of going with you guys, but thank god i didnt... or i will be eatting your dust all the way there and back...
Just wanted to point this out to prevent it from happening to others.
The flexihose between the K&N airfilter and the supercharger was rubbing against a fin on my radiator fan. I noticed it in time before it wore a hole in the flexihose and cut down the plastic fin on the fan with a knife.
