wow you guys are really stupid.

Whats the point is doing weight reduction on an already heavy car? WTF is that a serious question? WOW. the IQ of s2ki has hit rock bottom.

THE POINT IS to make the car lighter without looking like a stripped race car. OBVIOUSLY.

Interestingly enough not everyone wants to strip the shit out of their car to save weight. If a GTR owner wants to save a shitload of weight out of his trackday/street GTR and not have his GTR look like a your typical stripped civic ricer then this interior delete package is genius.

Carpet is heavy, seats are heavy as are the rear restraint systems etc. IF it wasnt obvious that the rear seat delete is not for passengers it should be obvious now that PWJDM pointed out the seat belts have been removed.

I remember i went through great lengths to do weight reduction on my last car, but i didnt want my car looking like a stripped POS either. I made a CF false floor which replaced the rear seats and extended all the way to the trunk. It looked great and saved me alot of weight. I lost a total of 300lbs from the car with various weight reduction mods and my car still looked good.

Seats without padding dont have to be automatically uncomfortable. I have sat in plenty of plastic molded chairs that suited my body type just fine and were just as comfortable as a chair with padding.

Haters be hating.

Something tells me the people who can afford to buy a R35 might have a different idea of how to spend their disposable income vs. the boy racer fanboy/wannabe's on this forum.

While most want to cut weight on their cars I'm sure completely gutting a car is not something 98% have the balls for on most cars let alone a new GTR. Completely gutting a street car/ daily driver/ weekend cruiser screams boy racer. I don't see most people building full time dedicated track monsters right out of the cage. Most consumers want to enjoy the pleasure of driving their car on the road, before they relinquish it to purely track flogging.

If you take the time to look at the pictures:
-The carpet tray replaces the carpet and the stock floor mats go on top. No slick shoes issue there.
-Like Tan said the rear seat is not meant to be sat in. It is a delete.
My only issue is the high gloss finish, not my taste.
-The front seat is a light weight racing seat, comfort is not really a primary concern or priority.
My concern is, as a track seat are they FIA homologated?

Really sad to see the negativity for products that took a significant amount of effort and capital to design, regardless of peoples individual tastes.

It appears that great minds think alike. Nicely said.

while i do agree this is a good way to save weight without exposing all wirings and looking like a POS, but to think pwjdm is guna sell these for thousands (which im almost certain will be), really isn't worth it.
