I noticed speed limit of 25 and u probably didn't get much past that with the curves but i'm sure u did on some of it... were there any cops at all? any issues with actually getting to enjoy it?

There probably aren't too many highways with a speed limit of 25 but a lot of this road is. It gets so little traffic that the chance of seeing a cop is very small and I don't worry about it. I have done probably 10 drives (almost 1k miles) up there and only seen 1 cop in the stretch between Morenci and Alpine. It's not like the Dragon that gets a lot of attention and is well known as an enthusiast playground. The fact that it is so far away from a major city limits the amount of people who run it for "fun". Only the die hard enthusiasts make the trip and it's well worth it.
