Default Home-made camera mount and pedal

Just as the title says. Mount is made from 4mm stainless steel which was then polished to a mirror finish. Pedal from 5mm aluminium. Heel and toeing is now that much easier!

Nice work. Do you work in stainless or is it a hobby? Either way, looks good.

Awsome stuff! Is it stable with the weight of the camera when mounted and in motion? I put a towel inside my secret compartment to support my ricks camera mount and to dampen vibrations.

Looks great, only thing is that camera mount looks long to not have any support under the camera area or aroun it. does it bounce around a little? maybe weld some support beams.

Thanks for the feedback! Although the bar does look quite thin, the camera really is well supported with rubber O rings and plastic spacers all round to dampen any judder. After a few test runs on Maltese roads (read: urban rallying over the 3rd the worst tarmac on earth after Afghanistan and The Democratic Republic of Congo) the video was surprisingly good with very little camera shake.
