Is it for a bullet cam or camcorder?

Pretty sure the one you refer to is the Modifry one. I have one, it looks like this:

As MB says, you need to decide what you are going to mount on it. The wind deflector mounts on the lid of the centre console and so it is not solid, put too much weight on there and it will vibrate and make your vids look crap.

The camera mounted on it in the photo above would be too big for example. A bullet cam or at the most a small IXUS style compact work fine. I do mount my camcorder on there but have had to improvise all sorts of lashings and stifners to get acceptable results.

Hope that helps.

You get a decent amount of wind noise with those kind of mounts. If you can spend a little more cash and get the mounts for the windscreen that would be loads better! And then you really do get a good picture with decent sound quality.

I use a Quad sucker windscreen mount which I got from fastfilms. Works a treat

Here are some vids taken with it using a camcorder.

It easy to put on and take off, and is very stable. Works a treat.

Camera mounts located on the wind deflector location are not very good for shooting forward but are good for taking shots behind ...... unless you have a Mugen wing installed

It also helps if you have a camera/video that has image stabilisation.

If you have an early model S (with the mesh helmet holes) and a compact camera, you can cable tie your camera to the seat. Gives a good video too!

I'll post one up in a min once it's uploaded

EDIT - working now
