How to Embarrass a Ferrari in Your S2000

They were nice macro pics, don't get me wrong. But my point still stands: promoting illegal drugs (in your state) and then linking it to your s2ki profile doesn't really seem too wise to me. But that's just one man's opinion. Just like the rest of us, you need to think about how your profile reflects on the community Mr.

That is a result of my car being a theft salvage. The car was stolen and stripped and has been put back together with a Frankenstein of parts. Unfortunately, whoever (don't know who) painted the front bumper didn't know that part was supposed to be left black. I don't have plans to fix it at this point, it's cost prohibitive. I guess it makes my car a bit unique, and is a good conversation starter! Hell yeah, you have just offered more incentive for me to get more pics of my baby with the trees. I'll followup within a week or two with more shots.
Shouldn't one know who one is addressing when defending one's self?
It also helps when notifications get sent to the OP's e-mail non-stop because people can't simply watch a video and keep their hate to themselves.

Would you not defend yourself when being blasted with so much fire?
Stop, Drop, and Roll!
Don't stand still and let it happen.
P.S He's actually just making good use of his spring break and taking a break from his dissertation writing. It's funny reading all the flame comments and responding in turn. Haha!
OP, I think people are little harsh on you because you used some.. well.. flammable words...
Other than that, I think the backroads you have are very nice. The pictures are cool too. I really enjoyed the pictures.
In my personal opinion, I thought it was little embarrassing when you thought passing a ferrari in your s2000 was something to brag about.
Maybe you were just joking, but well... I had an impression that you were a bit more serious than what I am hoping for, according to your replies..
Let's put it this way..
If I am driving an Aston Martin DB9, and a teenager in a Dodge neon SRT4 with stage2 comes up and race me.... at a stop light.
And for the moment I floored it and I lost..
Even so I would smile and drive away.. maybe give him a thumb up.
Now imagine the kid goes on the SRT4 forum and brag about the little 'race' he did..
Now that's pathetic... Don't you think??
Do you see what I am trying to say?
Only if you posted it as a joke, I am pretty sure everyone in this forum would have laughed and enjoyed the post big time.
Just imagine someone from a Ferrari forum copying this and post it on a Ferrari forum..
Now that would make me embarrassing.. as an s2000 owner..
Hope I didn't offend you in anyway, but please don't take negative comments personally..
It's a fabulous car, but there's no way it's near Ferrari whether it's driven by stig or a teenager.

I'm still confused on the relevance of my age.
First, it's bad to be 18, then it's bad to be 30s/40s? Is there an accepted age on this forum? The short answer is no. People are desperate to pick apart anything they can in an instance like this and will grasp onto irrelevant demographic details in order to support their illogical arguments.OP, I think people are little harsh on you because you used some.. well.. flammable words...

I've stated numerous times in my replies that this thread had a comedic angle to it that went over the head of the average flamer, as was expected from the onset. I'll admit I used words in the video interpretable as flammable, but my angle on them was that they were comedic. My replies to flamers were serious because I felt the need to defend myself. I re-posted the long list of immature insults thrown my direction. Lots of comedians are used to this, but I'm not a comedian, just a plain and simple car-enthusiast.As for the SRT4/Aston comparison, it makes sense, whether to joke or brag from either side. It's all in good fun and not meant to be taken seriously in that instance. I'm sure that teen would love his Neon as much as the old man would love his Aston. I'll bet the Aston driver would have a nostalgic thought about the days were all he could afford was a comparable car. We all read car magazines and watch Top Gear, so we know what each car is capable of in a straight line. Mountain roads are different though, they take into account much more than pure mechanics of the car. But alas, this digresses from the actual point of this all being in good fun. This was never a brag fest, but became a flame-fest.

Yet you're the one posting an immature thread without any logic included?Worst yet you're in your 30's? Maybe 40's?Hypocrite much?
Yep, you're still sounding like a hypocrite.
Like going through people's profiles, finding their Flikr accounts, and commenting on substance abuse pictures they took for a magazine, purely & solely because they themselves are trying to defend themselves by slating someone else to try and deflect away from their own enflamed situation?
Yep, you're still sounding like a hypocrite.

Every off site page I referenced was hand delivered to my by the poster themselves. My research was limited to either clicking once their s2ki profile, or clicking once on their Youtube user name. You make it sound like I'm a P.I.

You're seriously going to make fun of someone spending time on here when you are doing extra research to try and dig up dirt on the posters? Come on, at least stay on topic. You're making yourself look like an fool, I kindly suggest you stop.
I've been driving that exact same road multiple times each week for TWO DECADES. You can do some estimation about my age from that fact.
My pleasure!
My pleasure x2! Thank you for understanding the purpose of my original post, and having the civility to craft a mature response
