i've followed wantone here and there... never heard any rub... which totally blows my mind since i can barely fit one finger between his rear tire and the fender... amazing!!!
All you dudes who say the LMs rub and have the wrong offset, I really don't know what you're talking about. Proof undeniable... if you want to run these rims... use KG/MM Race springs... I have them over stock shocks now.
i will disagree with u on the rubbing thing for a good long time. showing pics of tires is not conclusive evidence that you don't rub.
i used the socal28.com method for the rears and now my rears clear fine. now the issue is, i rub fronts of which i will have to roll at some point in time, but it's very rare......
thanks for the pictures, nevertheless. always stepping up the plate.
Preston, you're right about the scuff on the FRONT wheel but you're dead wrong on the setting and time that happened. The scuffs were from my previous springs, H&Rs, and a really positive camber which I later sold to John. You should have seen the rears!!! I've since changed to KG/MMs, replaced my rears but kept the fronts which would explain why my rears are clean and one scuff on the front. Anything else you want to add, detective?
