at 4:30 am i was sleep in my dorm bed when i was woken by a friend telling me about a stupid drunk smashing in windows of cars in random parking lots of course being the spa yellow lover that i am my car was singled out the most the dude busted all my windows and jumped and hit my hood with a base balll bat he's caught and im suing so maybe i can finally get those volk's i wanted

 

Why are some people so mentally challenged that they feel this is a good way to vent anger/and or get attention?

Well done for holding back though, id have just beaten him down as a kind of "WTF has happened to my car" impulse, that strangely only occurs if the car is damaged and nowhere else.

Another question, What job do you have to afford an S whilst being at Uni? (College)

i love spa yellow, but like you said, attracts too much attention. I'd love to get that color on a weekend car (ferrari) or some sort.. but as for daily driver, i love white!

Good luck getting any money out of the guy. Odds are that anybody that has the mentality to do something like that doesn't have any money to begin with.
But, just in case, be sure that you tell your attorney that you want payment for diminished value of the car (since the hood will have to be replaced and "paint matched"), re-imbursement for rental car fees (since you can't drive it if you can't see out the window), and also mental anguish.

Amazing he didn't do anything to the softtop. I guess he was REALLY drunk. The easiest target and he left it alone.
