Those welds do look dissapointing coming from a high end JDM company such as J's Racing. I would expect better welds from a company like that and a price that you pay for these kind of products. Vyets, I hope you're able to get this problem resolved.

Am I the only one slightly offended by Leo from JDM Concept's response in one form or another? To say that the quality of the welds isn't that big of a deal feels like a slap in the face. Whether this is a "cheap" exhaust or not by comparison to the rest of their line, it is still a $1000 piece of stainless steel piping. You're paying for the quality of the build. The effort, time and love that go into making a component like this. I've seen kids coming out of highschool shop class that can lay down better welds than this. This exhaust looks like it was just thrown together. The welds are amateur at best. Don't insult our intelligence Leo.

This is just my opinion.

the welding on an old greddy system i had was a lot better. none the less im sure the j's exhaust sounds orgasmic and will perform up to its reputation.

hallo

i realised that my explanation may come out wrongly when i say it is not a big deal.

i wanted to apologise for not being able to express properly then

when i was referring not a big deal is that it seems that people are judging the exhaust solely on the welding quality alone. of course you can if you want to.

what i want is to let people know is that it still has other good quality that i think have been overlooked because the welding. i think it is very affordable system for beight a lightweight one and sounds good. not sure how much it is retailed in usa but in australia it is very cheap for what you are getting.

yes i can see that the titanium welding is better, and people's feedback has been passed to J's Racing in regards to the welding.

i too can understand that if people would like to stay away from this exhaust system as the result of the welding. people have different criteria for choosing an exhaust and (to some is weight, to others is price, sounds, brand etc)

to all of you, i am really sorry if this come out wrong as i didnt meant to offend anyone.

i mean if you dont like it, you dont like it. i am not here to try to twist your arm to like it, i am just trying to give some sort of explanation.

That did come off kind of brash. Sorry about that. I'm just saying that we've come to expect a level of quality in all aspects of J's Racing. I love J's Racing, and will be purchasing their parts. I'm hoping this is just a slight bump in the road for them, and it was maybe just a bad batch. Hopefully they take the feedback and improve this. No company is perfect, but the majority of the criticism is happening because of how well known they are for their quality. It's just not expected.

Always nice to see a company hop online and not just hide behind the computer
