I am not getting this bumper myself, but I can't believe people are slam'in it over the "real" J's half(ass) bumper.
I personally dislike half bumper / lip unless it is molded on. Otherwise, it looks...well, added on. Tacky is the first word that comes to mind. Instead of replacing the whole part, you glue attachment to it - looks very cheap and unfinished, imo.
I have the Intejet front lips myself and I think it is tacky. I can't wait to have them molded to oem bumper. Oh how I wish a full bumper version of it was available.
4IG has really outdone J's this time by offering a full bumper version, esp. at such low price. Com'on guys! He worked from the J's half bumper and greatly improved upon it. That's alot better than a direct copy.
from me.

I really don't understand the thinking of buying authentic JDM body kits. You guys don't actually think fiberglass is better than urethane do you or is it just the fact it was made in Japan that makes you happy. The real Amuse hood may be the only piece people can have a good aurgument over because it is better quality but is it $2k better. That is up to the buyer.
In the end you can buy all the real JDM pieces for the car you want and it will still be a USDM car. Impress us all and get a JDM car and put real JDM part on it.
I was going to go with the real J's front and have it molded in but then Brandon decided to make a one piece Urethane and I decided to wait. 1 piece is better than 2 and Urethane is more durable than fiberglass.
Thanks Brandon

EMC2,
Actually for high speed runs, fiberglass is better than eurathane. Anything that's more of a solid construction will give alot less to the car cutting through the air.
For the street, I completely agree, eurathane is definitely better. Resists damage from day-to-day use.
I'm sure with this option, even if the Japanese racers have access to this piece, will still choose the J's version. The large expanse of eurathane is just not a good solution for them.

Well, I'm pretty much in disagreement with everyone on this thread except a few and I don't want to cause a war here. I have no qualms about someone taking a product and improving on it, but this j's full bumper is a copy of both the J's half lip and the oem bumper. I choose to buy the real thing, although expensive, for the same reasons I choose to buy real Louis Vuitton wallets or any other product for its exclusivity and functionality. The wallet may not be the best of expamples, but you get the idea.
I also respect a company that puts time and money into research and developement as to the functionality of a product prior to producing it.
Well, fakes are here to stay so enuf said.
