god so been there.freaking sucks...
my g35 got impounded a month ago. just for a day. but the cop heard my BOV and was like "um whats that noise". i said "loose belt" haha...
guess it didnt work.

I guess certain parts are "approved"? Cuz I remember someone got ticketed for having aftermarket calipers!?!
I have no clue ... or maybe it's all up to the cops.
But ya ... it's definitely a JDM heaven!!! I guess it's sometimes nice when you drive on the right hand side hehe.

+1, I am from HK, too. 
I really don't want to drive in HK, roads are freaking narrow, gas and parking are super expensive and not to mention speed limit is low!
I by no means approve street racing, so whatever they do, they deserve. You gonna pay if you wanna play.
