I just got mine today...haven't installed the kit yet. How hard was it to cut off the bracket? It looks like the fuse box is not bolted down to the new hole on the strut bar, does it not fit? Have you noticed less vibration on the shifter?

Thanks!

I just took some pliers and bent it back and forth till it came off. On the fuse box ,the hole is too big for the factory bolt. Also the damper runs right under it. I will try to experiment with different bolt to see if I can make something work to bolt it down. I havent taken the car for drive yet just installed it and called it a night. But will be first thing in the morning.

Let me know if you got the heatshield and have a stock header.

Oh...I see what you mean about the damper being under the bracket...I didn't rea;;yu pay attention, so I thought the bolts tha came with it would hold the fusebox.

I got the complete kit like you did. I have a spoon header on the car, so hopefully it will fit fine.

BTW, how did you like the pulley kit on your car? Do you notice improved throttle response?

Thanks for the input!

I didnt see any other bolt except for the damper bracket and damper.

Why I was asking about the header was that I had to remove headshield attached to the header to get the j's shield to fit in. So you should be perfectly fine.

Pulley kit I know a improved throttle response but slightly. When I first put them on it was like night and day but I have gotten used to it.
