Yea I can, but the extra 2k i would have to spend for EMS, Clutch, and tune just to watch my differential shatter is not worth it when i have college loans.

If i had money that would be a different story

I don't see how a tune would require a new clutch, or increase risk to your differential. An EMS would be overkill too. A piggy back would be fine.

A tune requires a new clutch cause I would be making at least 75 more whp, I was referring to my differential because a member said get the tune for a better quarter mile, which means more power at the drag, more stress on the differential.

I don't remember seeing anything in this thread that would make me think you could get anywhere close to 75 whp just from a tune. The tune is primarily to smooth out the power band, and optimize VTEC engagement. Your peak torque is probably right at the RPM where nitrous starts spraying (3500 RPMs?), then drops off from there, so I doubt there would be any additional stress on the clutch or differential from a tune. Regarding the differential shattering, that is entirely caused by the clutch dump launch, not by power adders.

I would not spend the money for a tune and gain 10 hp by optimizing the timing and keep 100 shot. If i tuned i would be spraying 150 shot.

And yes the diff and clutch is directly related to clutch drops, which was exactly what i been saying from the beginning. So yes, there would be more stress on the clutch and diff. The stress comes from the drag strip, which was what i been saying the entire time.

You're just missing the whole point of a tune, and grouping it in with a bunch of non-related reasons to not do it. A tune would not force you to go for a 150 shot. It also wouldn't force you to go to the drag strip more, or do harder clutch dumps. A good tune would really be most helpfull for performance when you are NOT using the nitrous, and safer when you are using the nitrous. A tuneable ECU, whether it's a stand alone or a piggy back really should be the first mod for any sports car.
