And you guys thing is set up is better than the OP, lol at you, i drove slammed like him for a long time and let me tell you right now that this guy probably take is car only once a month and its to go to those photoshoots, cause at that height you cant go anywhere without scrapping, getting stuck on speed bump, getting annoy by the rubbing noises from the tires ,the frame rails, header flange, exhaust ect digging in the ground... so tell me who is the smartest, the guy with a set of wheels who cost 600$ and im assuming will actually daily drive is car or the guy who got money and only want internet fame by buying 4000$ wheels/tires set up and only drive is car to photoshoot !! So i dont see how is 245/285 wheel set up will make is car handle better than other" hellaflush car " when the suspension can only travel an inch and he f@#ked up all the preload of is coilovers.... before talking and bashing and saying this is better than this, you guys should maybe get behind the wheel of your s2k more often and experience things instead of spending time behind a computer !
to be honest, when you make a thread saying Low & slow! and asking for peoples opinion your gonna get it. and im sure the op knew he had heat coming his way. It is sacrilegious to some degree to not have the s2k be able to do what it is designed for, and s2ki has a strong reputation for thinking that way, which is complete fine. There will always be those that will mod the car for form rather than function in mind, and that is okay for them as well since it is they're car/money/time. But i think the attitude of low and slow i dont give a fk what you think is a little unnecessary. what you do with your car is definetly your business. so dont make a thread asking for attention then try to justify your actions against what people on a public form are saying. That in its own way is trying to impose your view on others. now, I do feel the tires are a bit smaller than necessary regardless of what hes trying to achieve, from a look stand point and a functional one, more tire would look/perform better. height wise and in regard to handling, low height and decent handling is still achievable at low ride heights, check my build thread, i still have preload, im still running a decent tire, and i daily my car aswell. My point in saying this is, I see what people are saying with the guy on CCW running alot of tire and being flush and how good it looks, and also i also agree he most likely does not drive his car as much as other s2k owners. to the op, think more tire, a pull, some camber would look better and less mexi-flush. Its definetly a common thrend i've noticed latey, as s2k's get cheaper, guys are buying shitty replica wheels and slapping no name tires on them to be hella flush. Its all fun and games and at the end of the day who gives a f@#k what some guy on the internet says. so more power to you op!
To the OP:
Maybe it's best if you sell your S2000 to someone that actually gets it. You can save the S2000 community from some embarrassment and buy a car that better fits your "low and slow" desires. It's a win-win-win situation.
