WOW
I've heard enough of this "18 years old, working hard, have my own house, pay my own bills, have an S2000." No one cares if you bust your ass at work.

It seems like every other post says something like that (young, paid off my car, house, etc). I really want to hear someone say "I'm 17, live with my parents in their mansion, I don't do shit, have a trust fund, wake up at 2pm everyday, and they have paid for my s2k along with my turbo, widebody, and everything else"

This is by far the dumbest post I've read all month. Being that this is an open forum, the OP can pretty much post whatever the hell he wants. This place is about sharing information and ideas. If you don't like his mod, then why the hell get so bent out of shape about it? Deal with it and move along...this doesn't reflect on you at all...not in the least bit.

It's humorous that you've posted all that personal information about yourself to try and prove some kind of ridiculous point...instead you've come off as an even bigger douche IMO. Nobody needed to know any of that...yet, you were somehow compelled to inform us all how baller you are. Okaaay then.

22 years old? Well, the hostility and lack of maturity in your post definitely makes that clear.
well said my friend!

started with a 1994 Plymouth Voyager here...

The difference in my post is that I'm not having a hard time, I worked my balls off so I don't have to have a hard time.

What is happening with the S2000's today?
Werd, I am almost embarrassed to drive one sometimes when I see how ricey some of these S2ks are.

But as the car becomes older and more affordable, kids can purchase them and rice them in every way possible. (not saying the original poster's car is ricey, I'm just going off on a rant).

well as far as im concerned, you can call me whatever you want. as far as you not understanding what i was trying to say, i was simply stating that Honda engineers know there shit and did a fuking fantastic job in creating the S2000. therefore, junk ass, ghetto parts should not replace better working, factory parts (lid or not.) now im 22 yrs old, i bought my S2K two years ago for $19000. i also have my own house payment (by myself.) when i see shit like this, it really makes me sick. knowing that i have busted my ass at work, to tastefully mod my car to best of my abilties, and still take care of all my bills. he can do what ever he wants to his own car, just (and i ask this nicely) please dont post pictures of this heresy.

but your right, its just a Honda. as far as im concerned, anyone who says this is one of two things: either an over-payed asswipe who feels that his schite dont stink or some little effin kid whos mommy and daddy gave him everything.
Whens the last time you got laid dude? Look at the bright side, atleast its not a Replica Its gonna be ok, Breath in and breath out

To the OP: for bang-for-the-buck thinking, I commend you. To all the haters, why? It's not your car, why do you care?

Yes, the S2000 is the new Civic.. especially those who purchased theirs used.

am i the only one that finds it funny that people who like those ugly ass wide-body kits, nasty sounding exhaust, and lower their cars until they have 2 inches of ground clearance call other people's cars "rice" ????

It's funny because everyone keeps talking about the S2000 as if it is a "High End" car. It's not a god damned Ferrari or something! It's a Honda. If it was an NSX, I could understand; but only if it was an NSX.

Some of you really need to lighten up. Some people buy/ make what they can afford. If he likes it, then so be it. I understand it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

^ you are one of the few ...

Although I am not a fan of some of it .. the term "rice" goes along with NO-FUNCTION. I hope everyone understands thats what rice really means.

In other words a wide body kit allows the car to grip more. Those "nasty" sounding exhaust - if they are the quality ones - are actually performance mods.

Now lets go back to the OP and why is his attempt "rice." First off Honda Engineers know what they were doing. So by doing this ... maybe he even actually made the performance go down.! (again rice = non functional).

Nice attempt .. but horrible results.

OH for those who say this is just a Honda and not a BMW .. give me a break. Just because say you own a BMW that does not make your car much more "valuable" to the owner then a Honda.

Honda or BMW or Pinto .. a shitty mod is a shitty mod. All cars deserve to look clean despite their pricetag.

If you guys are car enthusiasts you would not be blinded by the damn badge.

Rice =

E nhancement

It is not a 'high end' car, but they are still 35K new. Just keep the car clean and presentable. I just don't see the reason to rice-out a car unless you want to draw negative attention and a lot of from other drivers on the road.
