The fact that it is a Honda doesn't mean that Honda owners are free to mod their cars distastefully.

To the majority of people a +30K roadster is indeed a high end car. I am beginning to think that this forum is slowly but surely turning into Honda-Tech just with more posters who contradict their own posts. I love how half of the people that post comments about using "genuine" parts have half of their car built up with knock off brands like Seibon, Megan, etc. I'm not saying there is something wrong with those parts I just personally like genuine parts knowing that the engineering is behind the product instead of it being a lower quality reproduction.

Also, calling people idiots isn't really necessary to prove your point. Just because people have a different opinion than you it does not justify them as idiots. Grow up.

To the OP-

You should take a look at some different designs and incorporate them into your intake if you decide to keep it. Maybe utilizing some heat resistant wraps will better your gains Good luck.
he got called an idiot because he tryed to rip on the original guy for his modification and didn't even make sense.

well as far as im concerned, you can call me whatever you want. as far as you not understanding what i was trying to say, i was simply stating that Honda engineers know there shit and did a fuking fantastic job in creating the S2000. therefore, junk ass, ghetto parts should not replace better working, factory parts (lid or not.) now im 22 yrs old, i bought my S2K two years ago for $19000. i also have my own house payment (by myself.) when i see shit like this, it really makes me sick. knowing that i have busted my ass at work, to tastefully mod my car to best of my abilties, and still take care of all my bills. he can do what ever he wants to his own car, just (and i ask this nicely) please dont post pictures of this heresy.

but your right, its just a Honda. as far as im concerned, anyone who says this is one of two things: either an over-payed asswipe who feels that his schite dont stink or some little effin kid whos mommy and daddy gave him everything.

so because you are 22 yrs old, paid 19,000 dollars for your car,you work hard and you pay your own house payment ? big deal! just because you tastefully mod your car it doesn't mean you should comment negatively when someone else does something (ghetto). I just think that it's wrong when someone shares something they have done and he just gets negative comments.

congradulate don't hate man that's all im saying.

oh yeah sorry for calling you an idiot I must have been in a bad mood or something.

I then just went to my local autozone and got a 3" peice of exhaust pipe and then powder coated myself with a black chrome color.
I'm sure that was pointless.

LMAO @ some of the comments on here. S2K high end car? Please.

You wanna sell your S2K when you see these things? Sure. To me it sounds like you are insecure about what you drive and the perceptions attached to it.

Then you have the "young baller" S2K segment. When anything is presented that is against their view on a subject, they turn defensive and start telling you how old they are and how much they've paid for their S2000, when it has nothing to do with the subject at hand.

As for the OP, yes it looks a bit rigged, but I give you mad props. Most of the people on here wouldn't even know where to look for the parts you assembled. Clean it up a bit and you will have what a FIPK is essentially.
