03 rust spots cut out and re-welded
Did some repair work on the rust trouble spots behind the wheels, but the body is now rust-free. Pulled off more of the body molding/tail light/bumper to get access to the areas, and thankfully did not find more damage.

Now that I see it, I'm 99% sure I'm going to completely remove the lower body line to clean up the body a little bit. JDM Type-R style!

It's all done in Adobe Illustrator. I look forward to seeing the progression of the study.

04 No more dents!
Spent some time banging out the body in some of the trouble spots. Don't mind the body filler, it's thinner than it looks. The good news is that it's all straight now!

Had to pull the front bumper, which was in bad shape. I'll most likely be replacing it with a new unit anyway. Of course, with no bumper I had to zip-tie the license plate to the front of the car in case I want to take it out for a spin and not break the law.

Next step is to tackle the removal/filling of that character strip between the wheels, then it should be ready for pulling the engine, prime, paint, etc. etc.

Not sure why I haven't removed that passenger door handle yet...
