spider2k, what color are those? bronze?? It's hard to tell from the quality of the pics...
unfortunately yes. they were out of the black and i didnt care for the grey or gunmetal/polished combo. the color isnt too bad but not quite dark enough for me.

these will do until i get the real ones

Only 2 quick pictures since I didn't have much daylight after work. Plus a lot of people were wondering how the Slipstreams fit, so here ya'll go

I'll try to get some from the front tomorrow. Thanks.
I like them. Can I have your stock wheels?

Wow, those look really nice!

For the record, I had a set of Rota Subzeros on my old Si and hit plenty of rough road/pot holes without any issues at all. I don't see the problem.

I for one honestly don't care what the cost of a wheel is. I'm a big supporter for best bang for the buck, but Ill fitting (non staggered, skinnier rear wheel than stock) is a bad way to go. If he had Volks that were 7inch's wide all the way around, some of the same people would still be flaming him. There are some superficial members that focus on price alone, I'm more concerned with the lack of wheel to support wider tires. With all the people complaining, or in my case praising the car's neutral and sometimes oversteering driving characteristics, he's really taking a chance of pushing the car farther off the deep end, backwards.

That I will not argue with, I agree 110%. My comments were directed mainly towards those who seem to trash talk the quality of Rotas product and also making false accusations about their quality.

Rota 15" and 16" wheels have been well proven. And there's typically so much tire around them that rim strength isn't as much of an issue. The only probs Rota had with strange breakage (QC probs?) was when they first started making 17" wheels and those had the center section completely separate from the wheel, along w/ some other incidents. That like likely due to the fact that Rota never made wheels that size before and underestimated the load the center section would see w/ the longer spokes and reduced tire sidewalls. They've since fixed the design flaws. Looks clean.
You can fit 245/45/16 on there (check my sig), but it'll be pinched a bit over the rim. 245/50/16s would fit better, but if you do, replace the fronts with 205/55/16 at least to minimize the differential between front and rear ODs. 245/50/16 will lower your FD and throw your speedo/odo off a bit...not by much tho.

Thanks for the info JSR AP2, it is much appreciated.

What it comes down to is this: will the same contact patch as stock be achievable with these rims? The answer seems to be, according to JSR AP2, yes. If anything, I can throw a spacer on the rears to offset the 7" width and then everything will be dandy.

Keep the comments coming, just like seeing what everyone has to say.
