I felt the best way to make a fast s2k was to make as much power NA while still being able to use nitrous as a power adder. We all know what the s2k lacks and that is torque. If I can get around 275-280whp NA then spray around 100shot possibly more on methanol then Im right where I wana be. Nitrous is a great way to add power only when you need it. Otherwise Im perfect being NA. I like "driving the car" the way it should be, which is not fast in a line but in corners and on road courses ( esp the dragon ). NA power is always there when you need it and you dont have to worry about spool up for a turbo and limited power in lower rpms with a supercharger that only makes power in the higher rpms.

My car is actually a 2.1L . I didnt choose to do the stroker crank. I went with a 89mm bore which raises the car upto 2.1L . My goals were to rev the car upto around 11,000 rpm. I dont believe this would be good to do on a stroker setup because of piston speed. With the right cams and with my 52mm ITbs on I think power could be made into that range. I wanted to try something a little different. If it doesnt work out the way im planning then some new rods and a stroker crank can be used. I just felt that I wanted to get more revs out of the car and stroking would only make it harder.
