what lip is that?
It's a DRC (RaceCarbon) designed front lip. This one is in fiberglass, but they also offer it in dry carbon. The blinker LEDs are optional. PM me if interested.

It was inspired from a photo of the Amuse front lip. Fitment is perfect, high end part.

We do tucks and bays here.

We charge 7000 including all paint and labor for the s2000.
Sounds about right. Actually, a pretty good price considering the quality of what you've done on your s2k.

Yeah, but we're relocating the ABS and A/C, where you ditched it.

Did you completely strip the front clip down to the metal?
Yes bare metal

Then the fender wells are POR15ed and then rubberized undercoated.

I also have custom plates in a spot you dont.

We have 140 hours in ours at this time.

Which POR15 product did you opt for? Just the Marine-Clean/Metal-Ready prep or did you also use their rust preventive paint? This was also a product we looked into, but went with Dupont's equivalent.

How was working with the POR15 products?

Thanks for the insight!

We did the three step

clean
ready and prevent.

The stuff worked freakin awesome, however wear gloves and a mask, it smells really bad and is hard to get off anything.

Ok, so you did the whole 3 step process. Dupont works the same. Their product is really strong too. I would recommend a filter based mask as the regular disposable masks don't filter out that strong of odor.

It's funny how on POR15's website they claim the product doesn't have noxious fumes. When we used Dupont's product, we regretted not going with POR15 which gave us the impression is was less toxic... I guess there's no way around this toxicity.

Here's the finished result:

We need to buff down the welds, but you get the idea!

Here's the new location of the battery. It's an Odyssey PC680, the same size as a BuddyClub or Spoon battery. The battery box isn't yet finished, but will include a vent (also for water evacuation). So it's under the trunk on the passenger side.
