Default My new car

As some of you may have seen, my car has been in the for sale section for awhile. And my phone has been ringing of the hook asking questions about it. I would say 90% are tire kickers and only half serious. The other 10% want to fly out and buy it the next day. I guess I should take it as a compliment, as I put alot of work into my car. I think it turned out to be one of the cleanest, tastefully modded cars on the board. But I finally became bored, and needed a new project. Some I bought the car I have lusted after since I was a kid, a 1967 Corvette Coupe. Sure, it is not as fast as my S2000, and it does not have the modern technology that the S does, but I just think it is a cool car. I have only seen about 2 of them on the road in the last year. Plus, the value on these things continues to go up. "The Last 67", which was the last 1967 to role of the line, is expected to fetch $1M at Barrett Jackson this January, and I hope it carries the value of the other C2 Corvettes with it............Anyway, here are some before and after pics.

and my new toy..........

I know American cars are not always highly prized on this board, but I really like it. I think it will be a fun car to drive, and I hope to sell it for more than I bought it for someday

I really enjoyed by time in the "tuner" car market, but I wanted a change. My dad is also retired and getting older, and he loves to work on cars. I hope that he and I can do a few car shows together (like the James Dean festival in Fairmount, Indiana). He took me to that festival every year as a kid. I never dreamed I would be able to sit with my dad in a lawn chair next to my own 67' Vette. Its time to learn something new...........

Congratulations on the new ride. It's really nice and clean. I'm one of the ones who said you had the most tasteful S2000s I've seen. I'm pretty sure I saw it on Ebay recently. Good luck with the sale.
