Thanks bro, dyno sheet actually is horrible, has big dip from too soft of bov spring, so it was opening up at 19 psi every time, since then has been changed and I believe it should be closer to 625.

Just needs some of the CF pieces partially painted to flow better.
IMO I would:
1) Paint the sides of the HT, but leave the top "channel" CF
2) Ditch the CF front lip and go OEM painted
3) Paint the trunk, but leave the rear lip CF

The only thing I will do in the future is paint sides of the top black.

As far as the trunk it's a 1 piece trunk the little wing is built in but again everyone has there own opinion. I am done with carbon though, people tell me to do the doors, but I believe it will be too much

From my understanding launching at that point in the RPM band is bad for the diff, even at stock power. I understand that you're boosted but the same principles should apply. You still have to rev high enough to break the tires loose otherwise your drive-train is gonna take all the punishment, as in your case. Wouldnt a 6k launch have been more advisable? I know our rear-ends are weak but i'd assume it could handle a few launches, boosted or not, if done correctly?

At any rate, on the car man. I completely understand how you feel about the raw carbon look. I think it looks amazing as well. I have a bunch of carbon stuff on mine as well, although admittedly i never did like the look of carbon fenders b/c i think it doesnt flow well with the rest of the car. But to each his own. Keep up the good work.

A friend of mine had one with a 6265 on it and made a little over 610hp on C16 on a conservative tune, Went through a transmission and a differential in a week. Lol.

Car looks great, I love the look of exposed carbon on the car. I can see why you came in 1st.

I don't. As a car fan, that much "mis matching" looks bad. If there was symmetry in the carbon it would be different, but there are too many body panels that look out of place.

Cool on the monster turbo set up, but like you said, one pass and it blew up your rear, maybe a smaller less aggressive turbo would make it more driveable. thats just me talking

Kudos on winning first place.

While I understand the allure of carbon fiber, this is the kind of fashion tuning ideology that makes it silly.

Here I am trying to think "well thats neat, he removed all of that weight from the front end, will help greatly offset the weight of the added turbo system to retain the same weight balance as an original s2k even with the addition of gobs of extra hp."

Not only does carbon fiber weigh less than fiberglass, it is also incredibly more durable. Ever wonder why they don't sell bike frames made out of fiberglass for a fraction of the price of a $5000 carbon frame?

Claiming that painting over carbon fiber would make it a waste of money is a perfect example of the type of comments that make a person lose credibility on this forum, just sayin, bro.

I'd say this picture does the best job of showing off the allure that you are after in carbon fiber bling:

Definitely nice to look at like my fiances diamond ring, but painting the CF surely wouldn't make it worthless. Painting my fiances diamond ring makes it worthless, as all its good at is looking pretty. Carbon fiber has a much bigger purpose than the bling.
