No more AC. Just the begining of cleaning up the engine bay and dropping unneccessary weight.

1/7/11
finally brought my canon back over to the shop tonight. Well didn't do much today, just removed the a/c pump and replaced the belt with the shorter one. It all went very easy. Also put on a shorty injen intake i picked up. Intake should be good for now, i will be going turbo or supercharger in the near future so it's going to change either way. Got some parts coming in next week. My T1R rear anti-bumpsteer kit will be here monday and i'll put the front and rear anti-bumpsteer kits on early next week. I ended up getting an exedium front bumpsteer kit seeing how it is just a spacer and spent 60 bucks for it new, could justify the T1R for the extra 40 bucks. Also got the a/c delete button, top of the steering wheel trim(because the tabs are broke on mine), a blank button for the cluster (right side) and the gromet for the a/c delete in the firewall from the CR. Next up on my to-do list is to order the mugen rool hoop trim piece and start fabricating my custom welded in cage.
Here are some pics

Well, i haven't been doing much with the car the last week or two. Had a 4 day, 2000mi subaru road rally last week and a 4 day snowmobiling trip (leaving today) in tugg hill.

i'm hoping to pick up a single apexi exhaust this weekend from a guy i met a while back as well as oem front fenders from another local guy. I just ordered 22' of 1/0 gauge wire for my battery relocation. I'll be using a Odyssey PC680 in the trunk and tilting the fusebox sidesways in prep for the synapse turbo kit that is in my future. Should have the battery relocation project done next week as well as the front anti-bumpsteer kit installed.

I got the rear anti-bumpsteer kit last week but the uniballs on the ends were shot on one of the toe rods. I called up T1R racing and priced up another set (150- ouch), did end up getting a little back from the guy i bought them from and i got them cheap so it's still a good deal. I will be ordering those probably this week so i can put the rear kit on as well.

Not much else is new, been selling some unneeded parts on ebay and here and will be starting the cage sometime in Feb after i get the mugen roll hoop trim piece here. I think i've made up my mind on a set of Sparco R505 seats unless a good deal comes along as well. probably going with takata for harnesses.
