I bought a ctsv as a daily and I don't drive my s2k anymore except on the track.

I am afraid that is the same situation I will be looking at. I was at about 3K per year on my S2000. But I have not put 1K on the car this year yet. With the warmer temps here in the midwest, and fall still a couple a months off - the Si will be keeping me entertained for a while.

Thanks guys.

I have been able to get it out on some empty two-lane today, and I have to say that the DBW is not overly-annoying, and Honda did build a small sedan that is properly enjoyable joy to drive.

Maybe I am just exaggerating the experience because my previous Civic was nothing to take out for a meaningless spin, but like the S2000, there is vast amount of fun to be had (for a FWD inline-4) in the 2012 Si. If you don't have fun behind the wheel, I am certain you aren't driving it hard enough.
