I've been looking at doing this or possible getting the pieces powder coated black. How is it to work with? pretty simple? I'm just a little worried that it wouldn't look professional because I'm not the best at things like this.

The parts are plastic so you cant get them powdercoated... You can paint them, Its worth a shot since you can get the material for $8

Looks OEM and actually helps to protect the original finish.
My metal console shows signs of scratches. This would work so well.

Could you provide write up and or where to get this stuff?
